PANDA CLASS

(3 months +)

Our Programme

At this early age, infants learn through touching, tasting and moving in their surroundings, supporting their freedom to move and explore is crucial to their development.

At this early age, infants learn through touching, tasting and moving in their surroundings, supporting their freedom to move and explore is crucial to their development. Therefore whether our infants are touching textured material, discovering the secrets of a mirror or trying to mimic basic sign language, they are learning through having the freedom to move and explore. They enjoy days filled with stories, music, nursery rhymes, tummy time, and lots of sensory experiences.

Here, our class teacher and class assistant, encourage and support each infant. As at this age, infants make dramatic gains in their physical mobility and learning capabilities, in understanding language and in their ability to actively explore their world around them.

Planned activities are age-appropriate, using materials that help each infant to cover important learning concepts daily. We aim to provide a fun and stimulating day filled with opportunities for holistic development in a safe and loving environment. Our day includes music and physical activity, routines, sensory play, stories telling and arts & craft.

The class teacher strives to keep an open channel of communication between the principal and the family of each child. Regular informal meetings are held to keep all updated and informed, concerns are discussed, monitored and interventions put in place when necessary. Each infant has a personal book that documents their nappy changes, feeds and behaviour  daily. This folder is sent home at the end of every day.
